I know that you're busy and making time for yourself and you're creativity is hard to prioritise. 

I know that dipping your toe into the world of art-making and art materials can feel daunting.

I know that the 'what-ifs' are persistent.

Something new is always going to be full of a fear of the unknown, procrastination, and self-doubt. But it can also be overflowing with reward, resilience, self-assurance, beauty, and growth too. 

The Creator Co. process is simply beautiful because I’ve nutted out the step-by-step progressive logistics and finer details.

Creator Co: in a nutshell

• Receive your Creator Co. parcel

• Work on the ‘artwork-in-progress’ inside.

• Allow time to dry.

• Take photos of all your magic.

• Post to socials with #creatorcoflow

• Package up and post onto the next artist in your project.

• Progressively receive 3 more artworks in progress in the mail.

• Repeat the above.

• Post artwork off on its final journey to the Creator Collection.

• For the first time, Creator Co. will have a Facebook group which you will have access to once you’re on the inside. A place for connecting, sharing your process, brainstorm, and ask questions.

Your creativity and creative voice, the way you see the world, is so unique to you that it must be shared. You are making the bold move here. Trusting your making process and stepping into the beauty of the collaborative process.

What if the simple act of collaboratively engaging, drawing on the essence of your artmaking process, could ignite a new idea, a new body of work, a new energy in you?

Your commitment and investment:

• Your creative energy and thought for 4 artwork parcels over 8-10 weeks.

• Any art materials or supplies that you have access to and want to use for your contribution to the artworks in your project.

• Registered Postage x 4. After I send you the initial parcel, this additional 4 x registered posts will send each work to the other 3 creators in your collaboration and then back to the Creator Collection. Artwork packaging and envelope are reusable with the enclosed labels.

• Photography – to honor and share your work as your project progresses, please remember to take many and beautiful photos of each artwork as you go.

• #creatorcoflow share the love and your Creator Co. processes on social media.

• An opportunity to connect with other creatives in this shared collaborative project in our private Facebook group.

• Project fee of $89.

What happens to Creator Co. artwork?

The final leg of the Creator Co studio hop brings the artwork back to The Creator Collection at Melissa Banks Studio. Your artworks will return to the Creator Collection where they will be curated and photographed. Once a collection is complete it will be celebrated and launched online for sale. Original pieces and reproduction prints in different sizes will be available for sale with shared profits returning to you, the creators.
